The Brief we received from our clients for this Project was to create a new Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry, Laundry, Living Space, Formal Dining Room, and new outdoor patio area.

All of these new spaces were to complement their beautiful Arts and Crafts Period home.

We worked closely with our clients to create wonderful spaces, which they will enjoy for many years to come.

In the new Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry and Laundry we used the “Shaker Style” face for the cupboards and drawers with a hand-painted finish that suited the space.  The beautiful Carrara Marble benchtops with the half bullnose on half bullnose worked beautifully, especially as it wrapped around the top of both the Butler’s sinks. The fluted end panels framed the kitchen elevations and also the Kitchen Island.

The coffered ceilings we installed, gave the spaces a sense of casual sophistication, which worked in harmony with the timber doors and windows internally and externally in the build.

The new TV Unit is also a success as it lifts up from the joinery unit when in use and retracts down when not working.

The new marble flooring which extended from inside to out works beautifully with the existing kauri timber floors and the shingled exterior walls of the home.

The new retractable awning completed the new exterior patio space, allowing our clients to dine out on their patio during different weather conditions.

The Formal Dining Space will be enjoyed for years to come with endless dinner parties and wonderful stories being told.
